Scholarships

Tuition is rising and we’re here to invest in HER future.

Higher education has the power to transform lives, but for too many women, the cost of college puts that dream out of reach.

At The aKDPhi Foundation, we believe that talent and determination should never be limited by financial barriers. That’s why we invest in bold, brilliant women through scholarships that unlock opportunity, fuel leadership, and affirm that she belongs in every room she walks into.

Our scholarships exist because of people like you. Every gift, whether from individuals, families, or mission-driven partners, directly funds the dreams of women pursuing degrees in law, medicine, education, public policy, the arts, and more.

Each spring, we award scholarships to students who lead with heart, rise with resilience, and serve with purpose.

When you donate, you're not just easing the cost of tuition, you’re shaping the future of a woman who will change the world.

Aprileen Coh, an alumna from the University of California, Santa Cruz, had the foresight to establish The aKDPhi Foundation in 2011, paving the way to allow our members to leave a lasting legacy within our membership and community.

Named in honor of our Founder & Chairwoman Emeritus, the Aprileen Coh Scholarship uplifts women who reflect the Foundation’s vision to drive positive change in the world. This award recognizes sisters who lead with intention, act with courage, and channel their unique strengths to uplift their communities.

In 2015, the National Alumnae Association honored her legacy by renaming its scholarship the Sophia Yen Scholarship Award. As part of the aKDPhi International Leadership Board reorganization in 2021, stewardship of this scholarship was formally transferred to The aKDPhi Foundation.
